Gary Bates  •  February 22nd, 9:00am to 11:30am

Gary Bates of Creation Ministries International (CMI) returns to DSA this February!

NOTE: this will be the 4TH SATURDAY instead of the 3rd Saturday, due to Gary Bates’ schedule.

Egyptian chronology can be a challenging subject for biblical creationists. That’s because the secular, majority view about these chronologies extends further back than an objective reading of the biblical chronogenealogies allows for creation: a little over 6,000 years ago. These chronologies are hotly debated among Christians and secularists alike, with the consensus being increasingly challenged.

Moreover, some of the incredible Egyptian monuments like the great pyramids on the Giza Plateau have dates ascribed to them that would have them being built before the earth-reshaping Flood of Noah’s time around 4,500 years ago.

Gary Bates will show us that, following a strict biblical chronology, Egyptian civilization cannot predate creation, nor can the pyramids be pre-Flood constructions.

Gary Bates hails from Australia and has been speaking on the creation/evolution issue since 1990. In 2009 his family relocated to the US to head up the Creation Ministries International US office as its CEO. Gary has produced and directed award-winning documentaries and has also authored and coauthored six books on creation issues. Once a convinced evolutionist, he knows first-hand the dramatic impact the Creation message can have on a person’s life.
