Timberline Challenge Registration

You can register your team and pay the $50 team registration fee either through PayPal™ or by mailing a check.  Instructions for both registration methods are below.

Remember, the $50 registration fee is non-refundable!

Register through PayPal™

Click the PayPal™ button to register.  Helpful instructions are below the button.


  1. When you click on the PayPal™ button above, you should then see an option to either use your PayPal account, or a credit or debit card.
  2. You should see an option near the top of the screen to type special instructions.  Type “Timberline Challenge Team Registration”, and then add your team name (for example DSA Timberline Trotters), the team leader’s name, and team leader’s email and phone.  For example:

    Team Name: DSA Timberline Trotters
    Team Leader: John Smith
    Phone: (123) 456-7890
    Email: John.Smith@Example.com

  3. Finish the transaction, and you’re done!

Register with a Check

  1. Write out a $50.00 check to “Design Science Association”.
  2. Include in the memo line “Timberline Challenge” and your team name.
  3. Include a note with the check with your team name, team leader, and contact info, like so:

    Team Leader: John Smith Phone: (123) 456-7890
    Email: John.Smith@Example.com

  4. Mail the check and note to:
    Design Science Association
    PMB 218, 465 NE 181st Ave.
    Portland OR 97230
